Organic applesauce originates in Europe but is also a popular product in the United States. The use of apples to make sauces dates back to medieval times, where they were cooked at home until soft enough to be mashed into a puree. Making apple sauce was a way to preserve fruit during winter times. Apple sauce was originally a homemade product, but is also sold in a shop and a supermarket nowadays.
Our organic applesauce contains a small amount of added sugar, but is quite a healthy product. Because our apple sauce consists mostly of fruit, it provides a healthy amount of vitamins and other nutrients. Organic applesauce can be included in a healthy diet.
Organic applesauce can be used in many recipes and throughout the whole day. It can be used as a side dish to dinner, as a topping on desserts or breakfast, or to make cakes and other baking products. Applesauce can be used to add sweetness to a variety of recipes.

Our products are produced by two factories in the Netherlands that specialise in organic preserved vegetables. These factories are located in Driel and Roelofarendsveen and are part of the same parent company.
