Sweet corn originates in Central America and was first domesticated millennia ago. Field corn is primarily produced for animal feed, but sweet corn is produced primarily for human consumption. Sweet corn remains a staple product in the Mexican cuisine, but is today consumed all over the world.
Besides the sweet taste of organic sweet corn, this product is filled with fiber, vitamins and minerals.
Organic sweet corn is a popular product because it is easy to use and can be used in many ways. It can be served in cold dishes like salads, but also in warm dishes like wrap-fillings or chili sin carne. Organic sweet corn can be consumed straight out of the jar.
Our products are produced by two factories in the Netherlands that specialise in organic preserved vegetables. These factories are located in Driel and Roelofarendsveen and are part of the same parent company.
